After a dela...
After a delay at Alex's house, a big group of us headed down to Little Five Points for some Indian food and then shop. My mission was to find a unique long-sleeve shirt that would complement my new jeans from Montreal. After sifting through Little Five Points with no success, save a pair of hot sunglasses, we all proceeded to the Highlands and to (surprise) Bill Hallman. I can always rely on the store to have unusual, fun, and unique albeit expensive clothes. I stumbled on this hot long-sleeve green shirt with skeletons on it--I can't describe it but it is tight and very suave. I'm such a clothes-whore, it's disgusting. At least I have a complete outfit now. I found what I was looking for, so I feel very content. Taylor and I, after parting with Alex and her posse, went to Dish for my birthday dinner. I received a hot Chippendales calendar and a citrus candle--I love citrus. We had a great, intellectual discussion and the food was to die for. I feel like such a twenty-something buying expensive clothing and expensive food. Once I get to Savannah it will be time to trim the financial expenditures. Savannah is tomorrow! I can't wait to return to highs in the sixties (not thirties), and to see everyone again, and a city with life, unlike during the break when no one was around. We are going to swing by Borders to exchange a cd I got, then make a stop at Lenox to peruse through Urban, then head on down to Savannah. On the way, we plan on taking sideroads and stopping through small, deprived Georgia towns to have our pictures taken. What a sick pleasure. Renee asked me if I would work at Mucha for a week or two every Monday and Wednesday until the new employee's broken ankle was mended. I said yes. That could have been a really stupid decision, but I don't think it will be a hassle. At least I will be making some money. Not much longer until I'm home!
